“Map Taiwan” is a freemium Android/iOS app built by Stephen Blackwell. This APP is provided by Stephen Blackwell at no cost and is intended for use as is.
This page is used to inform users of the policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of user information when using the APP.
If you choose to use the APP, then you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. Any information that I collect is used for improving the APP. This APP uses Mapbox for mapping services, and Mapbox will have access to your Location if you grant Location permission to the APP. I do not share your information with any other third party.
The APP may record information that includes but is not limited to user Location, crash reports, error logs, and debug data. The APP has access to user Location only if that permission is granted in the APP. This DATA is never sent off the device by the APP.
The APP uses Mapbox to provide mapping services and map tiles. Mapbox has a system of data collection that they call Telemetry. Telemetry can be disabled by clicking on the Mapbox Logo in the APP. The Mapbox privacy policy is here.
The APP uses Google Play Services for app distribution, updates, and for processing payment. The electronic receipt of processed payment is recorded to the APP server, but do not include any of the recorded DATA described above. Google's privacy policy is here.
